I have spent all my life around numerous dogs and horses, both family pets and looking after others. My passion for animals is shared by my husband, Phil. Together, we wanted to offer exceptional day and boarding care - a real home from home for your dog - so you can have the piece of mind knowing your dog is safe and happy.  Put simply; high quality, enriching and professional animal care.

 

My husband & I have both obtained professional qualifications. We are both qualified in Dog First Aid, Dog Welfare Code of Practice and I am also qualified in Canine Behaviour.

 

I worked for a local hospice in the fundraising department prior to setting up the Davies Doggy Day Care business. Through my role at the hospice,  I was able to enjoy plenty of connections with the pets of patients, staff and families. I enjoyed setting up virtual pet shows and various events to celebrate my love of dogs.

 

I then started by looking after the dogs of friends and colleagues – and house sitting. It was with this experience I saw the need for families to be able to leave their dogs with someone they trusted and knew their dog would be happy and safe. So, Davies Doggy Day Care came to be!

 

I am so thrilled to now have my business running. I truly love working with the wonderful dogs that come into my care, and their owners. I look forward to having the opportunity to meet you and your canine family.
